Trinity River, Lewiston Bridge to Douglas City: 37 miles
[NOTE: This is incorrect, it is approximately 37 miles from Lewiston Bridge to the North Fork Confluence]

A rare Sierra river suitable for beginner paddlers. This section of the Trinity balances Class I and II rapids with relaxing stretches of calm water. The clear blue-green water invites swimmers into its deep holes and jumpers from the boulders strewn throughout the riverbed. You probably will be so content you won't notice the nearby highway as you float down. [Note: There is no highway along the section between Douglas City and Junction City.]

Hazards: Class I-II whitewater
